Make the rejection pipeline stronger than the claim.

HEDHub promotes events only after conventional explanations are tested. The goal is not more sightings; it is less noise.

Minimum event package

Original file: preserved without overwrite and hashed with SHA-256.
Manifest: station ID, software version, detector version and config snapshot.
Metadata: UTC start/end, approximate public location, private exact location if allowed, lens, filter, exposure and gain.
Detection track: frame index, pixel location, bounding box, brightness, color profile and motion features.
Review trail: automated rejection checks plus human review state.

ADS-B match, navigation blink pattern, airport corridor, rotor/audio signature or conventional light colors.

TLE match, constant angular speed, straight track, ISS/Starlink context or gradual shadow fade.

Short duration, falling path, trail, smoke, fragmentation, debris or external fireball/reentry match.
